Chet is a 4th Degree Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt with over 27 years of experience training with the Gracie Family. He was among the first group of Americans promoted to black belt at the Gracie Academy - and the first to achieve this rank as a student who did not train full time at the Gracie Academy Headquarters in Torrance, California. Chet has since promoted 14 students of his own to the rank of black belt. Noah Ortiz

Noah is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 2 Stripe Brown Belt with over a decade of experience. Now teaching at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Fort Wayne, Noah gets to share his unique approach to the art. With his attention to detail, patience, and great sense of humor, Noah is a gym favorite, not only to learn from but to roll with.


Adam Wright

Adam is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 1 Stripe Brown Belt with over 15 years of martial arts experience in Karate and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. After a short period of training in both Karate and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Adam dedicated himself to the grappling art. With an eye for and understanding of the deep details of the techniques, Adam has excelled in helping his students understand the need for leverage and mechanical advantage of pure strength.


Doug Mantok

Doug is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 3 Stripe Purple Belt with nearly a decade of martial arts experience in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. After a short period of training in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Doug became an instructor in the grappling art. Doug brings a patient and analytical mindset to the mat, always looking to help his students understand their hang ups, and helping them grow in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.


Josh Brock

Josh is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 1 Stripe Purple Belt with over twenty years of martial arts experience. After obtaining his purple belt, Josh began assisting one of Chet’s students in teaching beginner classes at a different academy. These experiences fostered Josh’s desire to become a Certified Instructor. Josh’s combination of patience, curiosity, and experience in other martial arts makes him an invaluable resource to his students.


Brandie Davis

Brandie is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Blue Belt, Pink Belt, and Certified Women Empowered Instructor with a decade of combined martial arts experience. She enjoys learning and helping others whenever possible, whether it's physical or mental Jiu-Jitsu. Jiu-Jitsu is a puzzle that is never finished and Brandie wants to see how many pieces she can add to her picture while helping others add to their own. Her attention and appreciation for details, along with her patience, are her strengths as an instructor. Leading by example, Brandie's mission is to help teach the techniques and mindset needed to empower as many young ladies and women as possible by showing them they are worth defending!


Ali Crowder

Ali is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Blue Belt, Pink Belt and Certified Women Empowered Instructor. Beginning in the Women Empowered program, she quickly fell in love with it. Fascinated by the simplicity and effectiveness of leverage, Ali began to study the Women Empowered course, becoming known for her collection of notes on every detail she could find. Wanting to fully master the program, give back, and help others feel empowered just as she had, Ali became a Women Empowered instructor. Ali enjoys connecting with her students and having fun while teaching. She seeks to further her growth, her knowledge of Jiu-Jitsu, and to inspire others in any way she can.
